I’ve been on a spiritual path for over thirty years. I’ve always felt a deep love of nature and animals since I was a little girl. I’ve studied different forms of meditation, yoga, and I am a Reiki Practitioner. I’m also an athlete, mother, and artist.
I’ve traveled all over the world to more than 20 countries. I’ve always been curious about other cultures and exploring the Earth to get outside into nature as much as possible.
What started me on the path to playing my Crystal Alchemy Bowls was when lost a job that I dearly loved, leaving so many dreams unrealized. Our community split apart and life changed for me overnight.
I signed up for a free sound healing conference, looking for some peace. Musician and Master Alchemy Bowl player, Jeralyn Glass was sharing how the bowls had knitted her heart back together after her son had passed away at 19 years old. I thought, if these bowls can do the unimaginable then I think I will contact her. And so I did. I bought one bowl and took a training with her. Then I bought more bowls and took more trainings, and studied with her on other platforms. I found energy medicine and breathwork with her teacher, Dr. Sue Morter. I took more reiki trainings and all of these tools, but especially the bowls held me, healed me, and brought me into greater wholeness and harmony. I feel so passionately about these sounds and the ancient art of using sound as therapy that Soul Wave Wellness was born. From a time I felt demolished, I’ve found joy, peace of mind and an open heart. I want this for you too!
I remember picking up quartz crystal rocks from my driveway as a little girl and singing to the plants. I grew up loving horses and the ocean. When I was a teenager my interest in music, poetry, and art grew. I started collecting crystals and stones, and learning whatever I could about metaphysics.
I traveled on my own extensively in college, exploring the world and having adventures like swimming with wild Spinner Dolphins and hiking the Na’Pali coast in Hawaii, exploring New Zealand and Australia, hiking through caves in Turkey, visiting cathedrals in Europe like Chartres, and trekking in Nepal.
All of these experiences influenced my spiritual path. I’m a student of Dr. Sue Morter, Kyle Gray, and Professor Jeralyn Glass who is a Master Alchemist of Crystal Alchemy Singing Bowls.
I love art, poetry, music, nature, animals and the ocean and weave all of these together for you into my business to explore how we heal ourselves, and heal the planet.
I’m an environmental advocate having collected over 1,300 pounds of trash off of my local beach, 20 minutes at a time through The Daily Ocean project.
I’m trained in the Sacred Science of Sound with Master Alchemist Jeralyn Glass, one of the leading professionals in the field of Sound Healing today, using Crystal Alchemy Singing Bowls. I’m a certified Reiki Practitioner in the Usui Fire Lineage through the American Reiki Academy.
I also hold a degree in Fine Arts with Honors from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. I’ve taught Ceramics in many non-profit Art Centers in Boston and Los Angeles. I’ve worked with horses at several barns in the Los Angeles area.
